Last year of May we were on our way to attend one of your college mate wedding ceremony (Rohit Singh )in Tinsukia(Assam). Me and Vivek Mittal started our journey from Mumbai to Dibrugarh (Assam), later on Mayur Mahanta joined us in Tinsukia. Post attending wedding we had planned to visit Parshuram Kund and Golden Pagoda in Namsai .
Since we were on the easternmost part of India , we witness the earliest sunrise of the country around 4 a.m. By 6 a.m. we were ready to move on for our trip to Parshuram Kund . On the way we had to stop at border to fill in the detail before entering Arunachal Pradesh. We were requested for our ID Proof , driving license and car registration detail and there was also small fees need to be paid to get ILP(Inner Line Permit). It’s like filling the entry and exit details .
Once we were in the Arunachal Pradesh land we witness mesmerizing natural beauty, the adorned mountain peaks,scenic view , paddy rice fields ,stunning rivers and lakes.The climate was cool and pleasant even in the mid of May month
Parshuram Kund is not only a historical or religious site but also a prominent site of natural importance, where else you can find such a religious sites surrounded by beautiful sky high mountain, pristine streams, dense rich forests and lush green hills?
The road took us through the mountain with the lush green thick virgin rain forest and splendid view of mountain .We also stopped at some place to have snack and breakfast .
The serenary changes and hills begin to start along with the beautiful orange orchards along side the passages with few twist and turn up in the hill we were approaching near to our destination.
After a long ride of 5 hr we reached Parshuram Kund in the noon. The view of river as it gushes past is amazing from the bridges as well as the view of temple.
It was so peaceful , not a trace of pollution and we could feel the cold air rush to fill us with serenity.The water was crystal clear and pristine.
It was excellent place to take a clip in a nature beauty, there were about 130-150 step to reach Kund. The river water was blue and clear roaring in the mountain. The water flow was very rapid and we observed water has a different colour and it was gusting through the bend.
The gurgling river was thundering down the rocks with its clear water and mesmerizing sight. One had to clamber down a few rock to reach the water . The thickly forested hills all around , the fresh clean air and crystal clear water was amazing. After spending some time over there we started our journey for Golden Pagodas (Namsai).
Namsai is the land of enchanting Pagodas and serenity, situated near the Nao Shing river.Golden Pagoda is a Burmese style Buddhist temple.
Golden Pagoda is not just a place where people come to pray but it also an architectural delight. It is a place where one cam come to wind down from one’s monotonous hectic routine. The complex houses a center for cultural research of the Tai Khamki – Singpho tribe, a library and a monastery. There is also tourist resort providing accommodation in the form of dormitories and individuals villas. It becomes better at night when lights are on.
We were excited to see to such a beautiful place , so well curated and maintained , beautiful lawns and a holistic environment and deep trance of peace and calmness.
After spending few hour over there we returned back to Tinsukia (Assam) for next leg of journey…

It was an awesome visit to Arunachal with all my friends. People must visit arunachal and north east to see its beauty.
