Nandi Hill Trip and Reunion

While many people says that High School was the best time of their lives. I would say is always true for everyone.Seeing pictures and facebook status update from old friend or even sending a few messages back and forth just isn’t the same as seeing them in the flesh and catching up with them.

Finally i got the chance to meet my crime in partners, senior high school buddies Vipul ,Naresh and Prabhakar after a long period of almost 7 years . To reconnect with old friend gives a feeling of merriment and curiosity to know where people ended up and what they have done with their lives.

I was travelling from Mumbai to Bangalore for some work and other three were already over there so we decided to had reunion.In late evening after completing our work we meet in the Brigade Road, Bengaluru .Everyone was excited to meet each other as we hadn’t seen each other for last 7 year. By 8 p.m. everyone reached ,and it gave the chance to dance the night away. We move on to LE Rock Cafe and spent almost 3- 4 hr over there ,then we had planned for a night out.

“Nandi Hills “ will be the first thought come to everyone mind if planning for random trip been in Bengaluru. Same happened with us . After spending another one hour in UB City , we went to Naresh’s house to dress warmly .

Nandi Hills, also known as Nandidurg is an ancient hill fortress situated in the Chikkaballapur district near Bangalore.People like to visit Nandi Hills mainly to view the beauty of the stunning sunrise above the clouds in the early morning.

We started from Esteem Mall, Hebbal around 4 a.m. meantime Anirudha and Harshit also joined us. The best part of Nandi Hills during a weekend is you will find lot many bikers who visit this place only to catch the glimpse of the sunrise. Now a days it has become giving the perfect weekend gateway stop.

Early morning Motorcycle riding was a combination of exhilaration, fear, relaxation, and pleasure . It’s physical & emotional pleasure, with a layer of anxiety & adrenaline.It was an awesome feeling that only the bikers would understand.We were just cruising on lonely highway as the road to Devanahalli(Bengaluru airport ) was so smooth and stretch.Riding is not just strictly monitoring the hand on the clutch, the foot on the break, and eyes on the road. Riding is like leaving all the worries and problem behind with the road we pass by and moving ahead continuously.

Once we turned into the Nandi Hill road from the National Highway, the experience was really awesome. When the driving remains 3km to reach Nandi Hills we focus on the scenic road , the way was not the fastest way but it had beautiful scenery.We reach our destination pretty fast with minimalist traffic. We took 1 hr 30 minutes to reach at uphill.

We were astonished looking at the parking area. It was fully jam packed with two – four wheeler vehicle.Any how we found space and parked our bikes and stood in the long ticket queue at the ticket counter to get entry pass.

Cold breeze on my face was something I was always longing for been in mumbai and that’s just what i got when i went up in the hill . I still got to see clouds above and below me magically segregated by a line of the blue sky. Hill was surrounded with breathtaking view , spectacular attraction and surreal experience.

The site was as beautiful as ever as the sun rises up little by little clearing the fog while we breathe the cold air slowly sitting silently and watching the huge land that cover all the distance my eyes can reach.

We went through the garden , it gave the feeling been in the lap of nature, leaf of tress consist of small drop of water and sound of bird chirping .We spend around an hour in garden and had selfie with nature . We doesn’t want to leave that calm and quite place that contain its own beauty.

After capturing nice view , we went to had breakfast . We had poori sabji, Vada and off course maggie. Yeah what else we needed in our life , we got maggie and tea on the top of hill surrounded with cloud.

After spending almost 3 hours over the hill we started our journey back to home. Lastly “the breezy ambiance of the hills turn out to be the most satisfying experience of our trip to Nandi hills.“
